Joelle Goddard- Cooling has been a pillar in our community for well over 25 years. She has run a very successful business called Joelle’s in the downtown core.
Joelle and I met in the 1990” s and instantly knew we would work together for the good of this town. We have both worked with various organizations and the hospital to support different causes. We are presently finishing up a refresh of the Cancer Centre Resource room at JBMH to make it feel like a comfortable space that patients can relax, reflect, and restore their mind and body.
Joelle has been a mentor to me in my business and a trusted friend. She is professional, kind, and extremely generous and is always thinking about how to help others.
Joelle has always supported my non-profit “The Camisole Project” which provides people with Breast Cancer a free Because.We.Care bag filled with essential items for before their surgery. Each month we give away over 30 packages, giving a little hope and kindness to women going through this most challenging time in their lives.
Over the years she has contributed thousands of dollars to us and most recently Joelle had an open house, and all ticket sales were slotted for The Camisole Project. We received a $5000 cheque from that fun filled evening, and we are so grateful to her and all of the people who attended!
We can only continue this Project because of the people in our community like Joelle.
On behalf of myself, my Camisole Project clients, my staff, and the women in this community I want to extend a heart-felt thank you for your commitment to us!.
Your generous contributions over the years have made it possible for us to continue our work helping women with breast cancer.
We wish you joy, peace, fun and good health in your retirement!
I know you will still be helping😊
You are truly appreciated. Thanks again.
Sincerely, Barb
